Hi, I’m Sam—the heart and hands behind Sali’s Teddies. My bears are more than soft toys; they are companions, storytellers, and gentle reminders that the child within us is still here and still matters.

I grew up with a deep need for comfort, safety, and kindness—things I didn’t always receive as a child. My journey through abuse and into motherhood, especially raising children with disabilities, has shaped every part of who I am. Creating bears has become a way for me to offer the kind of love and softness I longed for growing up. Each one carries a piece of that journey—a quiet strength, a kind presence, and a sense of being seen.

Every bear is handmade with care, using quality faux fur, jointed limbs, glass eyes, and hand-painted details. But more than that, they are made with soul. My hope is that they bring comfort to others—whether you’re nurturing your own inner child, gifting love to someone else, or simply drawn to something tender and handmade.
